GIRL TELLS HOW SHE KILLED FATHER.
ACQUITTED ON MURDER CHARGE <By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) Received '£• PERTH, July 13. The jury after only 15 minutes' deliberation returned a verdict of not guilty'in the case where Eunice Mary Hornby, aged 18, was charged ; with murdering her father. The girl was discharged. Explaining to tbe jury the circumstances of the crime the girl . said that her father had a terrible : I»mper and had threatened to "get }' mother" when she returned frpni • neighbours. "I decided that I would shoot father rather than allow other members of the family to do so. I ,' obtained my brother's rifle and saw father reading a paper in front of ' -the radio. I came hehind him, took careful aim and fired. Father's head dropped forward."
