Unprecedented terrorism prevails in Northern Palestine, where six were i killed and eighteen wounded during the last eighteen hours. Gangsters raided the Jewish .settlement of Givatada, killing two and Wounding three. An. encounter with malcontents, between Haifa and Nazareth, resulted in a Jewish constable being killed and two wounded. A British ■ officer was slightly wounded and a soldier seriously injured. Curfew was imposed in Nazareth after two bombs had been thrown at a Jewish bus. Telephone communication has been stopped owing to widespread wireeutting.
