MILD xITTACK OF GASTRIC INFLUENZA. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.--Copyright) (Received This Day. 112. ad p.m.) LONDON, July id. It is officially stated that His Majesty, King- George VI., is suffering from a mild attack of gastric influenza, necessitating a rest pending Ms visit to France.
The King has a slight temperature and stayed in bed to-day and will remain there for a day or two. It is understood that his prospects of visiting France are excellent. His consultants are Lord Dawson of Penn and Sir John Weir.
