64 DEAD AND 163 WOUNDED IN WEEK’S FIGHTING. SABOTAGE ON RAILWAYS /By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) LONDON, July 9. The War Office announces that the Third Infantry Brigade is going to Palestine on September 1. Meanwhile the Eleventh Hussars’ armoured car regiment is leaving for Palestine from Egypt as soon 'as possible.
A Jerusalem message says sabotage on the main Palestine-Egypt railway resulted- in the derailment of a goods train. Traffic was suspended. Brigands fired on a district commissioner at Galilee while lie was investigating an attack on a Jewish motorbus. The week's casualties are estimated at 52 Arabs and 12 Jews killed, with 145 Arabs and 38 Jews wounded. Six Jews were wounded in affrays throughout the country on Saturday. MORE JEWISH CASUALTIES.
