LEVIN STOCK SALE.
REALISATIONS REMAIN HBM. The usual weekly stock sale was conducted at the Levin yards yesterday before a large attendance of buyers. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report that they offered large entries of pigs and cattle, together with several pens of good quality fat sheep. The prices realised in all sections remained firm on recent rates, and almost a total clearance was effected. The price range was as under : Pigs : Light porkers, 23s fid, 26s fid, 28s, 335, 355; medium do., 38s fid, 39s fid, £2, £2 4s fid, £2 ss; heavy do., £2 7s, £2 Bs, £2 11s, £2 15s, £2 17s; baconers, £2 I9s,- £3 Is, £3 9s; choppers, £2 11s; Sows to farrow, £5 ss; weaners, 8s fid, 13s; slips, 14s fid, 15s, 16s fid; stores, 20s, 21s, 245. Sheep: Fat ewes, 19s 9d, 20s 9d. 22s Id; fat lambs, 18s fid, 225, 23s fid, 25s 9d; ewes, r.w.r., 20s. Cattle : Light fat cows, £4, £4 12s fid, £4 15s, £4 17s fid; medium do., £5, £5 7s fid, £5 10s, £5 12s fid, £5 17s fid; heavy do., £6, £6 2s fid, £6 10s, £0 15s; prime heavy do., £7 ss, £7 7s fid, £7 10s; prime heavy Hereford cows, £9 10s; store cows, £2 10s, £2 14s, £2 15s, £3 2s fid, £3 ss; vealers, £2 15s, £2 18s fid, £3; potter bulls, £5, £6 10s; springing heifers, £8 15s.
