The Times’ Prague correspondent says Dr. Hodza’s National .Statute to meet the Sudeten-Deutsch grievances is believed to include an extension of the law to enable the German language to rank equal with Czech or Slovak; cultural autonomy to all minorities in conjunction with the provision of a separate Budget; cultural and educational administration on national linos for minorities; the administration of all cultural and educational interests, including schools, in the language of the respective minorities.; the employment of civil servants on a proportional minority basis in relation to the total population; the proportional participation of minorities in governmental and municipal contracts; and the Establishment of a special controller’s office whereon minorities wmuld be proportionally represented to supervise the impartial administration of the statute provisions.
