RAIN PROBABLE.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day, An anti-cyclone is now centred near the Chatham Islands, while a depression is located north-east of Gape Maria Van Diemen. A shallow depression is advancing also across the south Tasman Sea. The forecast is for moderate to strong south-east to easterly winds. Weather clottdy to overcast, with intermittent rain, and some heavy falls probable in and east ■of the ranges. Temperatures mild. Seas rough on the West Coast, elsewhere slight to moderate, but increasing.
