MOTHER SHOOTS SIX CHILDREN
“X HAD NO MONET” (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) Received Friday, 9.40 p.m. ‘ CENTER (Texas), March 18. Mrs. Lillie Curtis, aged 38, shot dead six of her sleeping children, sparing the seventh and eldest, who was aged 15. ‘'l had no money, ” she afterward said, ‘‘and they are better dead. I did not kill the eldest because it can go to work,” Mrs. Curtis shot her husband dead in the same manner three years ago, when sentence was suspended after conviction.
