SHARP FIGHTING.
JAPANESE ADVANCE NOT ABATED. (By Assn.-Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) SHANGHAI, March 17. Sharp fighting is reported north of Tsinan on the Tientsin-Pukow railway, on which the Japanese drive has not abated. The Chinese claim that they were successful in delaying counter-attacks in Shantung, Honan and Shansi Provinces. JAPS. LAND AT TUNGCHOW. (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) TOKIO, Marcli 17. The Japanese effected a landing at Tungehow on the northern banjc of the Yangtse River.
