WAIRARAPA SHOW.
Intending exhibitors at the Diamond .Jubilee Show of the Wairarapa and East Coast A. and P. Society will be interested to hear that since the issue of the prize schedule further special prizes have been offered for competition as under: —Additional prizes in trotting and pacing events by the Wairarapa Trotting Club. Old timers’ cup for national dancing for boys under 18 years (Ilighland Ming, Sailors’ Hornpipe, and Irish Jig). Silver medal for. most points in dancing for boys under 11 years. The Wairarapa Jersey Breeders and New Zealand Jersey Breeders specials totalling £lO go to the best yearling Jersey bull and yearling Jersey heifer, in addition to the usual prize money. The Wairarapa and East Coast Friesian Breeders’ special of £5 5s is allotted to classes for Friesian bull calf and group of yearling bull and two yearling heifers by the same sire. Indications point to this year’s show being an outstanding one in all sections. Entries close on October 13th and schedules are free on application to P.O. Box 25, Carterton.
