(By Telegraph —Press Association.) WANGANUI, Last Night. The Wanganui Jockey Club’s spring meeting was concluded on Saturday tue day being fine and the course in splendid order. There was a large attendance and the totalisator investments amounted to £20607 as compared with £15652 on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £34188 10s, as compared with £24926 10s, the increase being £9262. The spring meeting of the Wellington Trotting Club was held at Hutt Park to-day in dull and cold weather. The track was in good order and there was a large attendance. The totalisator handled £24,414 10s, as against £19,647 for last year. Results:— NAI NAI HANDICAP, of £150; 3.39 class; 14 miles.

The last time round Sandusky took the lead from Horsepower, with Refund coming fast. In a neck-and-neck tussle up the straight refund gained the better of Sandusky and won going away by a length.
