MAY YET MAKE BID FOR THRONE. REV. JARDINE’S PROPHECY (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Oopyright) Received Sunday, 9.20 p.m. NEW YORK, July 17. Rev. Anderson Jardine, in an Interview, said: “I believe the Duke of Windsor will make a strong bid for the Throne in the event of anything happening to George VI. ’ ’ He added: “King George has given strong indications of emulating the Duke of Windsor by attempting to introduce ‘a resumption of kingly activities.’ ” .
