CORONATION FIVE-SHILLING PIECES.
PROFITABLE COMMONWEALTH IDEA. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.--Copyright> Received Wednesday, 11.15 p.m. CANBERRA, April 28. The Commonwealth Government announces that the new Australia five-shilling pieces are to be introduced into the coinage on May 10 to mark the Coronation. Between--600,000 and 800.000 crown pieces will be issued at a cost of about 2s--6d each to the Commonwealth which, will thereby gain considerable revenue.
