ALL-ENGLAND WOMEN'S HOCKEY TEAM.
MAY TOUR DOMINION NEXT YEAB (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. An all-England women's hockey team will probably be invited to tour New Zealand in 1938. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Women's Hockey Association to-night a suggestion from England that representatives w T ould be wnlling to travel was well received. Delegates agreed that the tour would be valuable, but were reluctant to commit associations, particularly in view of the financial losses over the Fijian tour. It was decided to inform the English Association by cable that the proposed tour would probably be acceptable, but definite advice would be sent in a month when the associations had been consulted on their willingness to finance the matches.
