SOLDERING HELP.

It is very easy to solder a leak in I the bottom of a petrel tank or the | top tank of the radiator after it has j been removed, but just try to do if ; while it is in its original position. A | plan is to take a thin piece 'of tin and shape it into a small spoon, leaving a handle long enough to keep the I heat away while soldering. Make the | bowl quite a bit larger than the- hole j to be covered and fill the bowl of the | spoon with melted solder. Then after I draining, cleaning and tinning -around the place to be repaired, hold the bowl over the leak and sweat it on with a soldering- iron. After the solder has cooled cut off the handle of the spoon and you have a quick, permanent repair.
