FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA.
PETROL FEED DEFECT CAUSES DELAYS. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) (Received This Day, ‘ 9.30 a m.) LONDON, July 13. The “Sun-Herald” lias been informed that a defect in the petrol feed lias twice caused the stoppage of Bern pill's engines and only the superhuman efforts of the mechanic saved a crash. The extra tanks have been scrapped and new auxiliary petrol carriers are being fitted. Sempill was not likely to start for Australia for at least two weeks.
