PRIVATE HOTEL TARIFFS UP 10 PER CENT.
AUCKLAND PROPRIETORS' DECISION
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night.
A meeting of proprietors of private hotels in Auckland decided to raise their tariffs by at least 10 per cent, as from Saturday. Fiftyfour attended the meeting and Mr. J. R. Elsbury presided. It was decided to form an Auckland Private Hotel Proprietors' Association fto be affiliated with the Auckland Employers' Association.
