Making his first appearance in New Zealand, Claude Nichol (12.(i), of Australia, outpointed Roy de Gans (12.2), the American negro, in a 1(5-round boxing contest this evening. The Civic Theatre was tilled to overflowing. It was a disappointing bout and several times the pair were warned to fight.
