JOSEPH CONRAD.
SAFE ARRIVAL AT PAPEETE. ALL ABOARD WELL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A wireless message received today by Mr Henley, whose son joined the Joseph Conrad at Auckland in February, states that the vessel arrived at Papeete on Thursday afternoon. All aboard are well. Later the ship will continue her voyage to England via Cape Horn and New York. Thus anxiety has been relieved concerning the cabled rumour that the ship was lost at sea with all hands, subsequent to the finding of wreckage at Porangahau, East Coast.
