ITALY FAVOURS RESTORATION OF HAPSBURGS.

PRINCE OTTO’S OPTIMISM (By Telegraph-Press Asan.-CopyrightJ Received Thursday, 9.20 p.m. LONDON, June 18. A Vienna message states that Italy does not object to the restoration of the Hapshurg dynasty to the throne of Austria. According to the Reichspost of June 16 Italy approves and even emphasises that the restoration question is purely an internal Austrian affair because no international treaty prevents Austria choosing her own form of Government. As a monarchial country and a friend of Austria, Italy will understand all the decisions of the Austrian people whether other countries are pleased or not. Prince Otto, in a letter to Austria from his Belgian exile, promises to bridge over all class antagonisms when he is restored to the throne. “As a true Hapsburg I will make sacrifices for my Austria.”
