AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURE.
£1,000,000 Syndicate Formed (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) Received Thursday, 11 p.m. CANBERRA, June 18. At the invitation of the Commonwealth Government a syndicate has been formed to float a company with a nominal capital of £1,000,000 for the manufacturing' of aircraft and aero engines in Australia. The Prime Minister stated to-night that the syndicate includes the Broken Hill Proprietary Limited,. Broken Hill Associated Smelters, Limited, and General Motors. Holden’s factory will be equipped with the most modern plant.
