Balgety and (Jo., Ltd., report: —We held our second rubbitskiu sale of the season on Tuesday, a good represent:! t.iou of buyers being in attendance: keen competition ruled throughout and a total clearance was effected. The offering, in keeping with the season, comprised some nice lines of winter skins, prime bucks bringing up to I3od and Ist bucks to 1211 d. Does were not in quite such good demand, but realised excellent value. Although lower grades in most cases were slightly easier than at our previous sale, they also sold extremely well and trappers are assured of >very satisfactory returns. In order to gain advantage ot the present high values, we would advise prompt forwarding of consignments.
