ATTACKED BY ABORIGINES.
OUTBACK AIR EXPEDITION’S EXPERIENCE. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) (Received This Day, H a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Au Alice Springs message says that the Cutlaek Air Expedition, while searching for Lassetter’s Reef, was attacked hy aborigines at Mount Burley, nine miles from Lassetcr’s grave. The plane ]iarty in a rude .shelter, were awaiting the arrival of the ground party when natives appeared. Three spears were thrown and the expedition members opened lire with revolvers. Two more attacks were made, but finally the natives were repulsed. During one sortie, a member of the expedition narrowly escaped being clubbed.
