Air. AL 11. Oram was elected chairman of the Palmerston Korth High Schools Board of Governors at the annual meeting of that body last night. After 18 years as chairman of the Auckland Hospital Board, Air. William Wallace was defeated for the position at the annual meeting of the board. Rev. W. O. Wood was elected chairman by six votes to live. Air. Wood has been chairman of the relief committee of the board.
