LOUIS AND SCHMELING TO MEET.
NEGRO FAVOURED AS WINNER (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) NEW YORK, June 11. Louis and Schmeling to-day had practically finished their heavy work for their ten-round hout at Yankee Stadium on June 18, at their respective training camps— Lakewood (New Jersey) and Napanoch (New York.) . Among boxing experts And observers there is little doubt that Louis will be the winner, but Schmeling is supremely confident and claims he is not afraid of the negro, whereas the last half-dozen fighters Louis knocked out were defeated before they entered the ring.
