EMPLOYMENT FOR BOYS.

DEPUTATION TO MINISTER,

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night.

Proposals for the alleviation of youth unemployment are at present under consideration, but are not yet ready for publication, the Minister of Labour, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, informed a deputation of the Auckland Boys' Employment Committee to-day. He assured the deputation of wholehearted cooperation by the Cabinet, and said the Government would utilise the service of the committees.

"There is nothing more important than rescuing boys from themselves at the impressionable age." said the Minister. "I am one of: those who believe in keeping boys longer at school, but we have to make it economically possible for parents to do that."
