t WERAROA DEFEAT IHAKARA
\ Only one match in the B. grade i competition was played yesterday, ' that being Weraroa v. Ihakara, • which resulted in a win for Wera- ' roa. The other two matches — Wesley v. Caledonian and Levin v. St. Joseph’s were postponed till next Wednesday, by arrangement with the clubs concerned. WERAROA BEAT IHAKARA.
j The above match was played on the Weraroa courts yesterday afternoon in fine weather. The result was a decisive win for Weraroa by 14 sets to 2. The Weraroa ladies provided a dainty afternoon tea. Following are the tcsults, Ihakara players being mentioned first: — LADIES’ SINGLES. Miss V. Turton lost to Mrs Boulton I—6; Miss V. Cottle lost to Mrs 'H. G.
