FLUCTUATING PRICKS AT ADDINGTON MARKET.

Values for fat cattle at the Addington sale to-day were lower and store lambs also cheaper, but there was little other change from last week. Lambs met a linn market and prices for store ewes were better.

Fat sheep; A yarding of 3SOO with no change in values though the enquiry was not so keen. Export buyers took little interest. Values: Best wethers to 2Gs lOd, medium 2ls to 21s Ud, best ewes to 26s 7d, medium las Gd t o 20s (id, ordinary lls Gd to 14s. Fat lamb: The entry was good and competition keen at late rates. Values; Extra prime to 34s Id, prime 21s Gd to 27s Gd, medium 21s to 21s. .Store sheep: A slightly more numerous yarding, being mostly ewes. Good young ewes and forward rape ewes sold well at an advance of up to one shilling. Best, two-tooth crossbreds made to 33s Gd. There was a large entry of lambs but the quality was not impressive and values were lower by up to Is Gd head.

Fat cattle: A yarding of 485 compared with -140. A few good quality lines of steers were penned but the rest were not attractive. Best was 10s beau cheaper and old conns and interior cattle up to Cl lower. Best heel: made 25s Gd per hundred, extra 295, good 2M.s to 255, ordinary 18s to 21s Gd, rough down to Iss. Extra prime heavy steers to £l2 12s Gd, medium weights £5 15s to £9 ss, extra prime heifers to £S 12s Gd, medium £-1 to £7, extra prime cows to £G, others to £4 ss.
