£550,000 FOR TWO AUCKLAND SALES (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night. It is estimated that the second Auckland wool sale of the season held on January 21 was vorth from £300,00(1 to £.'523,000 to the growers of the province. It compares with £1(5!),0!)<i realised at the second Auckland sale last season and £455,455 at the exceptionally good offering in January, 1934. The cheque for the first sale of the current season in December was £240,154. Thus the proceeds of the two sales so far held amount to about £350,000. Last season the first two sales returned £258,346 and in 1033-34 £753,149.
