The draw for the Davis cup was made by the Lord Mayor of London at Mansion House ami resulted: —
American zone: Cuba v. Australia; Mexico v. United States.
European zone: Monaco v. Nether lands; China v. France; Spain v. Gcr many.
The following have byes: Norway, Belgium, Austria, Poland, Yugoslavia. Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Greece, Argentine, Sweden, Ireland, Denmark and Switzerland.
