In the Criminal Court to-day three youths, William Hollebone, James 'Charters and Edward Smith, charged with having murdered Leslie Hobson, aged 39, at Newton Suburb, on Octo'her 7, were found guilty of .manslaughter and remanded until Friday "for sentence.

The evidence disclosed that Hobson,

while assisting another man who was outnumbered in a street brawl, was knocked down and kicked to death.

The affair was witnessed by several shopkeepers who were afraid to intervene.
