M.C.C. DEFEATS SOUTH AUSTRALIA.

The M.C.C. team beat South Australia by 3G runs. - The weather was cool and cloudy. The English hopes dwindled when Human was dismissed and M.C.C. were all out before iuncli for 174. Ryan took three for live. The home side were left with 220 minutes for their second innings to make 224 for a win. Badcock in forcing had a narrow escape early when he snicked a ball from Baxter off the wicket. The score was then less than half a dozen. In a grim fight Bradman and Ryan temporarily checked the local rot. The champion was restrained and scored thirty-two singles. The pair contributed 62 for the fourth wicket partnership.
