MORTGAGE CORPORATION'S HALF MILLION LOAN (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The approximate total subscriptions were slightly in excess of £600,000. As applications had been lodged at post offices, 'banks, etc., all over the Dominion it will be several days before full details are recorded. • Allotments, however, will be made at an early date, and on present indications it may be concluded that the majority of the applicants will receive allotments in full, whilst some of those applying for larger parcels will be proportionately reduced.
