Centres Cannot all be Represented on Council
♦ CONTROL OF BOWLING DISCUSSED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) OHBISTCHUKCH, Last Night. The annual meethig of the council of the New Zealand Bowling Association was held to-day, when representatives of 22 affiliated centres attended. A request for representation of each centre on the council was discussed at length. It was argued that under the council's present constitution all centres were represented directly or indirectly. The request was therefore not granted. The smaller centres, it was stated, felt they were entitled to representation. On the other hand, r was argued, if all centres were to be represented directly the council would bo of unwieldy size. It was also stated that it was desirable for the sake of control of the annual tournaments to have city repre-.
scntatives on the council as the tournaments had to be held in cities where there were enough greens. A motion was adopted that centres be informed that in the opinion of the council each centre now has representation.
