Death Follows Exposure

As a consequence of exposure and fatigue following upon the illness from which she had been suffering, Miss Edith Wall' died this morning. She was discovered lying in the grounds of an unoccupied dwelling after being missing from her home for five days.
Miss Wall, who was agsd 51, had been missing since early on Thursday, and was found lying on a path in the grounds of an unoccupied house early on Tuesday morning. She was unable to tell how she came to be there. How she had fared for food and drink and whether she had spent the whole time in the house, could not be ascertained. The house had been vacated two or three days before Miss Wall left her
home. She was clad in the night attii*3 she was wearing when she left her home. It was feared that Misu Wall might have been drowned in the Ngaruroro river, and for that reason men were posted at the river mouth to watch for her body.
