GENEROSITY OF LAWRENCE OF ARABIA.

Lord Wakefield reveals that Lawrence of Arabia was the donor of an anonymous fund for the education of children of R.A.E. officers. He invested £15,000, the receipts from his book "Revolt in the Desert" as a benefit fund from which £4OOO has been ex pended since He stipulated that the source should be kept secret.
The fund henceforth with the consent of relatives and trustees will be known as the Lawrence of Arabia Educational Fund.
