WEST TOR CONTINUES WINNING SEQUENCE.

HALF-HEAD MARGIN OVER GAINSFID IN PANNEVIRKE HANDICAP. INTERESTING RACING AND EXCITING FINISHES AT WOODVTLLE. The Dannevirke Racing Club's annual meeting, which is .being held on the Woodville racecourse, opened on •Saturday in deligihtful weather, the day being .brilliantly fine. The course was heavy, .but the going was remarkably good considering the heavy rain which fell earlier in the week. The attendance -was satisfactory and the totalisator handled £3895 10s as against £27:84 for eight races on the same course last year, the increase being £lll 10s. The fields were good and the racing was interesting throughout.
