Jubilee Oration in Westminster Abbey
MR MacDONALD TO SPEAK PROM ABBEY NAVE (By Teletrraph-Press Assn.-Copyright). Received Friday, 7 p.m. LONDON", April 19. The Daily Express says chat Mr. Ramsay MacDonald will make the Jubilee oration in Westminster Abbey on May 7. He will speak for about an hour on the King’s reign and the spiritual signficance of a Christian monarch. He will be the first Prime Minister ever invited to lecture from the Abbey nave, though Mr, Baldwin and the late Lord Curzon made short
speeches at the unveiling of Abbey memorials.
