OBITUARY.
MR MERVYN CAMERON. Very great regret was felt in the district yesterday when. i it became known that Mervyn, son of Mr and Mrs John Cameron, of Chau, had passed away in the early ; hours of Sunday morning after a very short and sudden illness. Deceased young man had only just had his 20th birthday and his sudden death has come as a great shock to his many friends. Mr Mervyn Cameron was one of the most popular young men in Ohau, his never failing good nature and his (bright and cheerful disposition endearing him to young and old alike. He received his education at the (Ohau and at the Palmerston Technical Schools, displaying scholastic ability well above, the average. He was a most popular and enthusiastic member of the Ohau Tennis Club and of the Ohau 'Social Club, the 7 members of Which will greatly miss his bright personality. Groat sympathy is felt throughout the district for his Mr and Mrs Cameron, his sister, Mrs 11. S. Saint, and his two brothers, Messrs J. and R. Cameron. The funeral will leave his parents' residence at , Ohau at 2 p.m. to-morrow for the Levin cemetoiy.
