SAFETY CODE FOR CIVILIANS DURING AIR RAIDS.
ISSUE TO BE POSTPONED (By Telegraph-Press Assn. —Copyright). Received Monday, ‘7.15 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 10. The News-Chronicle's political correspondent says that the Government has decided to postpone the issue of a safety code for civilians during air raids. A majority of the Cabinet subcommittee decided that it, might mislead the public into a (belief that war was imminent.
