FEUDING STOCK SALE.

STORE SHEEP MARKET ANIMATED. SUBSTANTIAL RISE RECORDED. The outstanding feature of the operations at the Feilding stock sale yesterday was the animated demand - Tor store sheep and this resulted in a substantial rise on late rates. The offering of stores was made up of ewe and wether hoggets and these were keenly sought after by operators, who quickly absorbed the entry of close upon 2000. There was a good demand for fat hoggets at slightly better prices, but ewe and wether mutton declined Is 6d to 2s a’head. The fat cattle pens contained a good but mixed offering of station-bred beef. Bullocks were on a par with last week’s rates female lines being slightly easier, while dairy sorts experienced a good demand. Store cattle were offered in fair numbers with values fluctuating and an easier tone manifest. The usual large offering of dairy lines came forward and for the better sorts of springing heifers good values were obtained.
