Kingsford Smith’s Plans

WILL CROSS TASMAN ON JANUARY 11. AGAIN TO LAND AT NEW PLYMOUTH - WELLINGTON, Last Night. In the course of a radio-telephone conversation with his brother, Sir Charles Kingsford Smith, in Sydney, Mr Wilfred Smith, who Is at present in Wellington, ascertained that the Southern Cross will leave Sydney on Thursday, January 11, and land at New Plymouth, where a tour of New Zealand will' commence. Sir Charles will probably be accompanied in the Southern Cross by Mr J. Pereival, who was a passenger in last year’s trans-Tasman flight, as well as Mr S. E. Neilson, of New Plymouth. The Codock plane will be flown across the Tasman at the end of January and will land at Auckland in time to join Sir Charles in a tour of the South Island.
