BANDITS DERAIL EXPRESS. FIRE ON ESCAPING PASSENGERS JAPANESE TROOPS TO THE RESCUE. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright.) (Received This Day, 10.55 a.m.) SHANGHAI, NoV. 27. A daring outrage was perpetrated by bandits 40 miles east of Tsitsihar, Central Manchuria, on Sunday night. Bandits unbolted the rails of the Trans-Siberian Railyay, and an express travelling at 50 miles per hour somersaulted down an embankment. The bandits then opened tire on the passengers who sought escape from the wreck, ed train. A Japanese guard happened to be travelling on the train, and returned the tj.re, the bandits fleeing. Several passengers were taken captive. The Japanese lost two killed and several wounded. It is believed (that many persons wore killed and injured in the wreck.
