BADMINTON.

WELLINGTON v. LEVIN. Over the week-end a team from the Wellington Badminton Club, which is one of the strongest clubs in the .city, played against teams from the' Levin Club. The visitors were a strong combination and were altogether too strong for the local team. Included in the city team were well-known tennis players—Mr and Mrs Don France, Messrs E. Roussell and M. Foden. The Levin ladies were stronger than their opponents but the visiting men were too superior for the Levin club playersThe spectators were entertained to a high-class exposition of the game by the Wellingtonians and was easily the best witnessed locally.
