BURMA ALSO AFFECTED Received Sunday; 7 p.m. , CALCUTTA, Aug. 5. Terrific damage and heavy casualties following the monsoon floods continue in India, and Burma, in addition. In parts of Burma many villages have been completely razed. Twenty-six Drowned When Ferry-boat Capsizes Received Sunday, 7 p.m. CALCUTTA, Aug. 5. Twenty-six were drowned in the Ganges near Rainnagar, Benares, when a ferry-boat containing 30 and including a dozen women, was caught in the swirling, flooded water and capsized. Four, including a woman, were saved by grasping floating logs.
