BAD WEATHER COMING.
FLOODING LIKELY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. A complex depression still extends from the eastern Tasman Sea across the northern part of the South Island. The pressure is rising slowly in the south, and southerly winds prevailed over most of the South Island this morning. The district forecast is for strong northerly winds to gales, hacking to southerlies shortly. Weather unsettled, with heavy rain and considerable flooding. Temperatures becoming cold. Seas rough.
