Hume, Federation Supervisor of herd-testing, in his lecture at Levin on Wednesday evening, that no country in the world could turn out dairy produce more cheaply than New Zealand could, provided that the fanners managed their affairs as they should, by getting a return of at least 300 lbs. of butterfat per cow.
