The Wellington Racing Club’s winter meeting was continued at Trentham to-day in fine weather, though the afternoon was heavily overcast, with drizzling rain before the last race. The track was a bit holding and dower than on Tuesday, and there were several surprise results. The attendance was large and the tote handled £25,873 10s as against £16,068 on the second day last year, the increase being £OBOS 10s, and the total increase for the two days £14,717 10s.
