RIVERS OVERFLOW.
INUNDATIONS IN TWO STATES. *i(By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright.) (Beceived This Day, 10.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, Friday. As the result of torrential rain over -the southern highlands, the Tumut JRiver and tributory creeks overflowed, .inundating thousands of acres of land. The Tumut police are taking precautions against a serious flood, as it is -still raining heavily. The Campaspe River, in Victoria, has •(overflowed its banks, and all the lowflying parts of the town of Rochester -have been submerged.
