NO ROOM FOR DEPRESSION AT THE REGENT THEATRE.
Cheerful British comedy, '"Jack's 'the Boy," featuring Jack Hulbert, Cicely Courtneidge and Winifred Shotter. British comedians have undoubtedly earned a place in the list of the world’s most popular film-layers and we arc positive that Jack Hulbert’s latest production will settle the qualms of the most depressing Doubting Thomas. Jack Hulbert, the comedian of "Sunshine Su>ie," in another radiant outburst, a snappy symphony of mirth, melody, I-atchy songs, amusing dancing, and delightful comedy. Here are ••me of the g«ms —"The Flies Crawled Up the Window," "1 Want to Cling to Ivy," and some fine dancing by Jack Hulbert, screamingly funny situations in Madame Tussaud’s Waxwords. The whole tiling goes with a. hilarious saving and a sparkle that lifts you out of yourself with sheer happiness. It is undoubtedly a sparkling successor to "•Sunshine Susie, and we know that* you will enjoy every minute of it and be much happier for having seen it. Excellent British supporting featurettes include Isle of Erin, Orange Tipped Butterflies. and Summ ; ‘ Seekers (N.Z. Scenic).
